When managing a logistics operation, Majan Shipping believes pre-planning material flow is essential.   This is vital for the material requirements at site to be met, for suppliers to be aware of production requirements and for forwarders to plan the packing of cargo to maximize loads and consolidations. By careful planning the need for emergency shipments can be reduced and with it the overall cost of logistics.   Whilst it is clearly understood that ‘emergency’ shipments require fast-track solutions, it should be possible to minimize costs and maximize efficiency by planning the consolidation of ‘inventory’ materials.
